How to Play
Plan the king's position and shot
All pieces move by classical chess rules, so watch the enemy pieces' attack squares before moving. Highlighted squares show where the king can move, and the game warns you before a dangerous move. If your king is in check or steps onto an attacked square, it is checkmated and you lose. The floor objective is to destroy the enemy king without losing your own.
Manage reloads and ability trade-offs
Shoot enemies, and move to reload. Between floors, choose one of the offered card sets with positive and negative properties to keep the difficulty balanced. On PC: left mouse button on a highlighted square moves there, left mouse button shoots, right mouse button reloads or resets the soul. On mobile: tap a highlighted square to move; tap an empty spot on the screen to move the sight there or reset the soul.
