"Chess Fishchess" - is a timeless game of strategy and logic. Challenge the computer across 10 difficulty levels — from a complete beginner to a near-unbeatable Stockfish-powered engine. Three game modes to keep things fresh: classic chess, Fischer Random (Chess 960) with randomized starting positions, and Random Position mode — where every game begins from a unique mid-game setup. Track your stats, earn points, and compete with other players on the leaderboard. Customize the board and pieces to your liking, set your preferred time control, and play at your own pace.
How to Play
Goal Checkmate your opponent's king — put it under attack with no way to escape. Controls Tap a piece to select it, then tap the square you want to move to. Available moves will be highlighted automatically. Game Modes — Classic — standard chess with the traditional starting position — Fischer Random (Chess 960) — pieces are placed randomly, so opening theory won't help — only pure chess skill — Random Position — the game starts from a mid-game position, different every time Difficulty Choose from 10 opponents — from a weak beginner to a full-strength Stockfish engine. The higher the level, the deeper the computer calculates. Points & Leaderboard You earn points for every win — more points for beating stronger opponents and playing with a time control. Compete with other players on the leaderboard. Time Control Choose a time limit of 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes per game, or play without any limit.
