Battleship: Ancient Rome

Battleship: Ancient Rome is a classic battleship game with a unique historical setting. Take command of the Roman fleet and fight pirates and Carthaginians across the Mediterranean Sea. Complete an epic campaign of 20 missions divided into 4 acts. Start as a young navigator and become Rome's greatest admiral. Unlock powerful combat skills as you progress: scouting to reveal enemy ships, Greek fire for incendiary attacks, and ballista volleys to bombard entire zones. Each mission features story dialogues with characters like Legatus Marcellus, Engineer Titus, Consul Publius, and others. Skills upgrade with each act, making battles increasingly tactical. Choose from three difficulty levels: Recruit for beginners, Centurion for experienced players, and Legatus for true strategists. Free play mode lets you battle without campaign restrictions. Place your ships, attack, and sink the enemy fleet!

How to Play

Ship placement: select a ship from the list on the right and click a cell on the board to place it. Click a placed ship to rotate it. Right-click to remove a ship. The Random button places ships automatically. Battle: click cells on the enemy board to shoot. A blue dot means miss, a red cross means hit. When you hit, you shoot again. Sink all enemy ships to win. Campaign skills: scouting reveals random cells on the enemy board to help find ships. Greek fire delivers a precise hit and ignites an adjacent cell. Ballista volley bombards a three by three area. Each skill has a cooldown measured in turns. The Enemy and Ally tabs switch between the enemy board for attacking and your own board for monitoring fleet status. The enemy takes their turn after you miss. Watch ship status on the right panel and use skills at the right moment to gain a tactical advantage.
